Embodying a simpler time, wooden covered bridges began springing up in the early 1800s. Today, only about 10 percent have stood the test of time which makes Oregon’s 54 existing bridges quite impressive. It’s worth taking the scenic route to find them – drives that can take you exploring off the beaten path.

We are lucky to have four in Lincoln County so get out and explore these American classics and reminders of days gone by.
